I'm Back....Stay tuned :)

It's Monday but really it's Tuesday!

Love me a short week. All weeks should be short weeks in my opinion. It just makes everyone happier. 

So remember that one time I tried Crossfit and almost died?!  I started going again this morning @5:30am! I'm not a morning person so this is huge for me! I have decided I want to work out to get In better shape and I think it will help me feel better. 

I was going to go all last week and didn't due to bachelorette hangover x7 days! So my friend Holly said "I'll pick you up in the morning" I needed this someone to hold me accountable and not let me say no! I am paying money so that will also give me some much needed motivation! 

Being a working mom of two with a coach for a husband doesn't exactly allow for work out time! Taking the kids with me isn't exactly an option because of their ages. So this will be perfect! Kids still asleep and hubby up and getting ready. I got home at 630 and That's what time he leaves. So each morning we will pass each other coming and going! 

I'm going to be sore as CRAP tomorrow and Thursday but this will be good! If I keep telling myself I will believe it! :)

Bachelorette Party Rewind!

So it's Thursday and I'm still recovering from last weekend! An all weekend bachelorette party for my sister with all her friends (6+ yrs younger than me) and my cousin who is my age! 

My sister isn't a HUGE drinker or the partying type so we picked Fredricksburg & it was PERFECT! 

Friday we all arrived at the hotel opened our party favor bags that my sweet mom made with a wine glass and some FUN glasses! 

After everyone arrived we headed to dinner at a hole in the wall Pizza place called West End! It was delish but the service was AWFUL! Oh well. Then we headed back to the hotel for the lingerie shower & games! We ended up going to bed at a reasonable time so we could be ready for a full day on Saturday! This old lady was excited! I need my beauty sleep! 

Saturday we woke up got dressed and headed out to brunch & shopping on main st. Another place with horrible service! But yummy food!

After a few hours of shopping we decided it was time to winery hop! 

First stop: Fiesta Winery which was highly recommended by a friend! We loved it! We were the only people in there and they said the most calm Bach party yet! But we were just getting started! 

Next stop right next door: Shooters 

Two old men were running the place! They were super sweet but some creepy married man in his 40's was there hitting on everyone and asked my married cousin (with her ring on) for her number! But the wine there was pretty good! 

Stop #4: Messina Hoff. 

A really nice winery with LOTS of people and yummy yummy wine! We had fun there and felt like we were there forever! 

Next we went to our final stop: Perdnalles Cellar...may have spelled it wrong! It was way out down a country road and the wine was terrible! Lol didn't even get a pic there! 

Back at the hotel! Being fun runs in the family (cousin, sister & me)! 

Then we showered an got ready for the night! Theme for Saturday was Sequins!

We went to Hondo's for dinner and live music! It was so yummy and a great atmosphere. We visited a local bar after that and weren't very impressed! 

It was a fun weekend from start to finish and I can't wait to go back but not for a bachelorette party. Just shopping and wineries! 

Woah Life slow your ROLL

Our life right now is nothing short of CRAZY! I mean seriously...run her run there then back again x 100! 

Last weekend my sister graduated from college 4.5 hours from our house! We wouldn't miss it for the world but all the traveling is a beating with the two munchkins! 

The rest of our week goes like this: 

Monday hubs had a banquet! 

Tuesday B had a game 

Tonight another tball game

Tomorrow high school baseball play off game!

Friday leave for sisters Bach party in Fredricksburg 3.5 hours away! 

Sunday come home and go to a graduation party. 

Next week is more of the same! 

The next week..oldest 6th birthday and pre-k graduation! 

The next week is Wedding week!!!  

I'm already running on E and there is not rest in my future! Anyone else feeling my pain?!? If I wasn't this busy I wouldn't know what to do but right now I'm thinking a day of NOTHING sounds pretty cool!

Tuesday TEN!

ONE: I have been MIA because life has been crappy lately! Sorry to complain I hate complainers and now I am one! 

TWO: Last week I attended a funeral for my friend Holly's mom who lost her battle with Cancer. Cancer sucks and so does watching your friend hurt. Lots of prayers y'all. 

THREE: Grocery shopping and I we just don't get along! 

FOUR: I made these amazingly cute Converse for my cousin and her little girl last weekend and OMG...

FIVE: I HATE allergies! I think I have had this in my Tuesday Ten like the past 4 weeks but seriously! 

SIX: Men who hit woman should be castrated. End of friggin story! Can I get an amen?!? 

SEVEN: For Mother's Day I didn't get a present but my lil sis graduates college and my hubby told me to get a pedi and go shopping! I'll take it!

EIGHT: Don't you hate when your laying in bed trying so hard to go to sleep but your brain won't turn off?!? Ya me too! 

NINE: Shelby and I are doing a spring time swap and I can't wait! If you have never done one you should with a blog friend far away! It's so fun! 

TEN: My sisters bachelorette party is this weekend in F-burg and I'm pretty excited! But you know what I'm most excited about is the hashtags I made for it: #bugsbachbash <---her nick name is bug #quinning <--- her fiancé' name is Quinn

Tuesday Ten!

Here is another Tuesday 10 for ya with Sam at Airplane Rides and Guacamole Sides!

One. I started a fb page for my business! Find it on fb 4th & Stitches! Within 24 hours I was almost to 100 likes! It's a small number but a great start! Go like it! 

Two. T-ball game last night we were warming up outside the third base dugout. All the parents waiting outside to take our kids stuff in. A mom from the other team walked in while the other team was still getting out and started putting their buckets in the dugout! At this time our kids were in left field warming up! She said we have this dugout! Really?!? This is T-ball! 

Three. I was really tempted to bribe the kids with Ice cream if they won but I didn't and we won! 20-5 and it never felt so good! 

Four. I am LOVING this weather but HATING the allergies that are coming with it! 

Five. My baby boy had his TWO year well check yesterday...yep at age 2.5 I'm that mom! He is in the 50% for weight and 91% for height! Not sure where te height came from he has the shortest parents ever! Enjoy it while it last little buddy! 

Six. My friend Holly's mom is still at the hospice hose and their family needs lots of prayers y'all. Please and thank you! 

Seven. Woke up at 7:25 this morning and was out the door with both kids at 7:40. Got them both to their school/sitter and was 5 min early to work! I pretty much feel like a rock star even if I do look a little ROUGH haha 

Eight. My oldest turns 6 and graduates pre-k in one month! Excuse me while I burst in to tears! How is this even possible?!?

Nine. Recieved my sisters wedding invite in the mail yesterday! Shit just got real! 

Ten. Between 8&9 I'm sure to be an emotional wreck for the month of may and part of June! Sorry in advance! 

Happy Tuesday Friends! 

Oh Monday!

It's Monday and I'm not the least bit happy about that but it's also my mother in law & Grandmother in laws birthday! That does make me happy! 

When people hear the words mother and inlaw together they usually cringe! Not me I'm lucky! My mother in law is absolutely amazing and I feel so blessed to call her mine! 

I must say when Jason and I started dating I was worried! For starters he is the baby and we all know how that goes with most moms! They act all cray when a female comes around and tries to be with their baby boy! I say this because this will prob be me with BOTH my boys! Haha Secondly hubby is 12 years you get than his brother and 14 years younger than his sister. This makes his parents the age of my grandparents so I was worried about how we would have anything in common! 

I was wrong on #1 & 2! We get along great! She doesn't get in our business unless we ask for her advice and is always there for us no matter what! Not only is she great to us but even better to the boys! 

Brayden and her are pretty much best friends and he gets whatever he wants! Tate does too but Brayden and her have a very special bond that I can't explain. It reminds me so much of the bond Jason had with his grandmother! I am so thankful for that! 

My mother in law went through hell and back about 2.5 years ago and I am so glad that she is still here with us and healthy as can be. She inspires me to be a better person daily! 

Today is also Jason's late grandmother's birthday! I miss that sweet woman so very much! She died the October before Jason and I got married! She treated Jason much like Jason's mom treats Brayden! Except his grandmother lived with them for most of his life! She would wake him up so she could make his bed and breakfast! Everyone jokes that he slept with her till he graduated! He really did ask her to go to college with him but she said she didn't think she could go that far! Haha He really was rotten to the core! 

So Happy Monday and Happy Birthday to my sweet Mother & Grandmother in law!!
