It's Friday Eve!

Woohoo it's finally Thursday! Hope everyone is having a great week and it's flying by! Mine has been LONG! 

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite recipes that a friend gave me a few years back and it has become a staple meal. 

Chicken Tostada Upside Down Bake What you need:  2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 medium onion, finely chopped (i don't use onion) 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced 4 small or 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, shredded and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper ( i boiled my chicken) 1 can diced tomatoes, fire roasted is great with this recipe 1 can corn, drained 1 can black beans, drained 1 can black olives, chopped 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning packet 1 1/2 Tablespoons ground cumin Pinch of kosher salt and pepper 1/2 Cup fresh chopped cilantro 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1/4 teaspoon Lawry’s Garlic Salt with Parsley 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese Now time to put it all together:  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.   Heat oil in large pot over medium heat.   Saute onions for 5 minutes then add in garlic; cook for an additional 1 minute.   Add chicken, tomatoes, corn, black beans, olives, ranch seasoning, cumin, salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes, until heated through, then stir in cilantro.   Pour into a 9×13 inch baking dish that’s been sprayed with non stick cooking spray.   Place Crescent Roll sheet over top of chicken mixture, brush lightly with olive oil and season with garlic salt.   Bake for 20 minutes, until just starting to brown. Top with cheese and bake for an additional 15-18 minutes or until cheese is melted and crescent dough is cooked through. Remove and let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Tuesday TEN!!!

Whoop whoop Link up time with Sam from   airplane rides and guacamole sides   for:

{ONE} Oldest had his 100th day celebration at school last week! When asked what he would ask for on his 100th birthday he said "100 monster trucks,100 longhorns & 100 girlfriends" seriously child your 5?!? I'm in trouble! 

{TWO} Why doesn't my hubs understand that the new tp roll goes on the holder not on top of it?!? I won't tell him that I'm testing to see how long it takes him/ how many rolls he goes through before it gets put on! I'll let y'all know! 

{THREE} Toddler talk is on the top of my list of favorite things! No I don't correct my two year old when he says wove you, dink (drink), quose (close) it, baf tub or any other word Bc I think it's cute! He is two and will grow up soon enough I'm not helping him out! 

{FOUR} I have a serious obsession with the Olympics and I can not stop watching them! #teamusa 

{FIVE} Why is it that you never realize you need new windshield wipers until you have to use them and you can friggin see because they aren't doing their job! I wish there was a sensor on them wait there prob is on fancy cars & who am I kidding I would ignore that just like I do te tire pressure light and the gas light! 

{SIX} How is it possible that my 5 year old already tore holes In the knees of 5 our of 6 pair of jeans he recieved for Christmas?!? To think before two long there will be two of them doing this in a months time! I'm gonna be broke! #boymomstruggles 

{SEVEN} I'm gonna need one of my children to go ahead an be an Olympic athlete because I have now added going to my bucket list & let's be honest the only way I'll ever go is if they are in it! 

{EIGHT} Sisters wedding is in 4 months! Look at the decor I'm making for it: 

{NINE} You know your always late when your 5 year old calls you out! 

{TEN} Woohoo Charlene is gone! She basically said she was leving because he wasn't smart enough for her! Don't lie Charlene you wanted no part of his daughter and you knew that from day one! Clare is bringing out the cray in Niki or maybe Niki Is bringing out Clare's cray! Either way it's entertaining! I missed Rene this episode! And I don't know why he cried when Chelsea left from what the show aired they had NO connection!

Feeling Guilty and sad...

Oh it's hump day....Friday still seems like it's an eternity away!!!

So lately I have SO many people in my life who mean the world to me that are experiencing the most awful thing ever...INFERTILITY.

I hate infertility with a passion. Not because I have experienced it but becasue it effects SO many people these days. It's like every time I turn around another friend is trying and trying to have a baby with no success. Or what they think is success until the rug gets ripped out from under them. Then you have these people who are the most UNFIT mothers and could care less about having children at all and they have LITTERS of children. Then they lose them to the state, leave them in a hot car,  give them away to family members or just completly neglect them.

It's not FAIR to me...I don't understand why God allows it to happen to such good people. Why can't everyone just be able to have babies when they want? Well I think the answer is that then all those children who are born to unfit parents or parents who don't want them wouldn't have anyone to adopt them. But I feel like everyone should AT least be able to have one of their own. Without paying millions of dollars for invetro or surogates.

It makes me feel guilty knowing that I was able to get pregnant not just once but TWICE and have two healthy boys with no problem. Sometimes I think maybe I should be a surogate for a friend but i'm not sure I could do it. The bond that you form with the baby in your belly when your pregnant is so special and for you to have to give that baby away after delivery? I just don't know if I could handle the emotional side of it but at the same time I would be giving someone a gift that they couldn't give theirself.

It's not realstic for me to do it but the thought does cross my mind often. I just hate to see my loved ones in pain and hurting due to infertility.

I know there has been so much testing and things done to try and fix it but it still isn't fair.

So today and everyday I pray for people who have to deal with this and I hope you will too!

Tuesday 10!!

Tuesday 10 time with Sam!!!!

Bachelor style this week: 

{ONE} My happy place on a Monday night: watching Juan Pablo eating Dutch chocolate ice cream in my bed! Kids asleep in their bed!  

{TWO} I loved Rene! They click and are on the same page! His date with her made me happy & I really liked him! 

{THREE} Juan Pablo and Clair...he disappoints me when it comes to her! He thinks with the wrong head and I wanna kill him! 

{FOUR} "I need to know that he sees me as a panda in a room full of brown bears" sharleen---I can't figure out what he sees in her! Who says that?!? 

{FIVE} Last week Nikki made me really mad and I thought I didn't like her any more but this week I like her again! I mean she has some serious guts to propel down that cave! & she is a nurse! :) 

{SIX} Clair is OVER DRAMATIC & how many times did he say looks at me?!? Yep u guessed 132,435,765,674

{SEVEN} I can't believe he cried when sending the three girls home. He has a very good heart and I HOPE he doesn't pick the wrong girl and starts thinking with his heart! 

{EIGHT} It was so past time for dog lover to go home! It's been like 5 episodes and I still can't get past her profession! 

{NINE} Juan Pablo is friggin gorgeous but some of the clothes he wears oh my! 

{TEN} Next week look like another drama filled week! I don't know why I continue watching!

Monday not so fun day!

Ok so can we talk about how much going to work the day after the Super Bowl stinks?!? Because it sure does! 

This weekend was nothing short of completly awesome and went by WAY too fast...I think I say that every weekend! I wish they would drag on like the week days do! 

Saturday we packed up and headed to my cousins house! Of course not on time I swear my husband is never on time when it comes to things for me but if it's for him he is at least 15 min early! So it started of rough but we had a blast! 

The kids played we are dinner drank beer/ wine and visited! I will never be able to tell them just how much our relationship with them means! Not only with them but my aunt & uncle (actually my great aunt & uncle) also! So we are actually second cousins! 

Then Sunday we headed back and went to a Super Bowl party at some friends house! It was fun but late and the alarm clock came way to eary this morning!
